Our breakfasts and our dinners tend to be exercises in deliberate sameness; a tested and trusted breakfast to get us out the door, our dinners the decompression period to settle after the rigors of another day done.
But lunches have always been different: lunch at home, the brown bag school lunch, the working man’s noon-ish break in the ramshackle break-room and the white-collar “working” lunch in an upscale restaurant. Were it not for that occasiona

FMA: Jean Havoc Poem
The Jean Havoc Poem
By T-Phoenix
Havoc loves tobacco,
And smokes forty a day,
Puffing like a chimney,
He inhales his life away,
He smokes to ease the tension,
He smokes to cure the pain,
For the Colonel stole another girl,
All his dating was in vain!
Yet Havoc's loyal to Mustang,
The thieving he'll abide,
He follows all his orders,
And stands tall by his side,
For Jean Havoc lives in hope,
That Mustang will rule all,
Those uniformal changes,
Are Havoc's ultimate goal,
For Havoc likes the ladies,
He's an enormous flirt,
And Mustang decreed all women must,
Parade in miniskirts!

The Maes Hughes Poem
By T-Phoenix
Maes Huhes is energetic,
A family man at heart,
To him his daughter truly is,
A perfect work of art,
He shows off all his photos,
And waffles on and on,
About how much he loves them so,
Despite groans from everyone,
And people get annoyed,
At his pride-filled parental spiel,
"Elicia is adorable -
I know that's what you feel!"
But Maes is the loyal, caring sort,
A good man and good friend,
What saddens those who knew him best,
Is his untimely end,
In trying to save his country,
He checked files bound in leather,
But for uncovering secrets foul,
He was silenced forever.

The Roy Mustang Poem
By T-Phoenix
Roy Mustang was an emo boy,
With darkness in his life,
His friend Maes Hughes would tell him thus,
"Roy, get yourself a wife!""
Fire was his weapon,
And whiskey soothed his soul,
Young Edward was his protégé,
To be Führer was his goal.
He loves dogs for their loyalty,
And hates his paperwork,
His subordinates all will follow him,
But most think he's a jerk.
With miniskirts in fashion,
And Hawkeye on his arm,
Mustang's greatest skill in life,
Is his irresistible charm.
But one thing makes Roy Mustang swoon,
His weakness brings him pain,
He can't go out when it is wet,
He's u

Hide and Seek (BuckyxReader) Pt. 1/2
Blood stained hands, eyes lifeless, a faint whisper of why being heard coming from your body in the far corner of the room. Your head lolled to the side and your (e/c) eyes looked around the once pure white room.
Where are we?
This was something you had gotten used to. It was your job. But as the days went on and years passed, it had become too much. You pulled yourself to your feet. A heavy sigh left your lips. You wiped your hands clean on the curtains that you set ablaze later. Everything soon became consumed by the flames.
What the hell is going on?
You needed everything to become ashes that would be carried away by the wind. All that

Peter slammed his fists down on the table, "You said it would be the right thing to do!"
Tony didn't flinch, "Peter-"
"No, not this time. This time you listen to me. You told me that if I stood on that stage with you and pulled off my mask, everything would be fine. Better. That people wo

Iron Men, Male Strippers (Steve x Reader)
Note: Steve seems OoC, but please read to the very end to know that he isn't. I know he would never do this but there is something behind it so PLEASE read to the end before commenting
Isn't it odd how Tony Stark seems to have his hands in everything? That also seemed to include lady's and gentlemen's clubs. They were open on different nights, of course, so he could be at both. He wasn't interested in the guys, obviously, but he knew that the women that decided to show up for the strippers would have an itch he could scratch.
That was where you were on Tuesday night, at the 'Iron Men.' You had been in there before, but a close friend tha

I'll Be Home For Christmas
Bucky tried to forget as he and the other troops went through their daily routines that this would be his first Christmas away from home, away from Steve. Although he put on a brave face, he still felt like crying. He’d left his heart in Brooklyn, left the boy he loved.
In his wildest imagination, he never thought that after he and his men were captured by HYDRA and torturous medical experiments performed on him, that Steve, newly-transformed into the superhuman Captain America, would save him and all the other captives. Safe and reunited with Steve, who had become a tall, strapping supersoldier, Bucky no longer cared about the nicetie
